LET'S MAKE FILMS LONDON EVENT - THURSDAY 1ST FEBRUARY

Event: 7pm-9pm Ext: 10.30pm (Networking to continue after 9pm at a local pub close to Framestore)

The presentation this time is:

“The Secrets of Stop Frame Animation” with Will Becher, an Academy Award nominated director and animator at Aardman Animations - https://www.aardman.com/ http://www.willbecher.co.uk/

Will is going to provide an overview of Aardman's history and productions to date, as well as demonstrating some of the secrets of stop-frame animation, from character and set creation to various aspects of the animation process. I believe he could be bringing some of the models and props as well!

There will also be pitches, breakout tables, networking, group exercises and more opportunities to meet potential cast and crew for future short film projects.

We will also be announcing our plans for 2024 to organise different types of events throughout the year, including cinema screenings, workshops and masterclasses, as well as entering film festivals and other competitions.
