Morning Everyone! I've been so inspired by my author friends recently, and thought I should set some new goals for my writing. The industry is super tough atm, but I see a lot of diversification, and authors working with what they have. So...
1). A traditional deal with an advance (my agent has one out on submission that I'm super excited about)
2). Continue working with my current digital publishers.
3). Continue to develop my self published titles.
What are your current writing goals?

My main goal for 2024 is to sell one or two feature scripts, D.E. White. My second goal is to read more scripts and books. I'm also working on a spec script, a ghostwriting job, a pitch deck job, and pitching. Hope you reach your goals!

Thanks, D.E. White. Yes, I submit to production companies. Some of the leads are through Open Writing Assignments in Stage 32's Writers' Room. I also get script requests by networking with producers, directors, etc. on Stage 32, Twitter (X), etc. I recently got a request for my Horror Comedy feature script "Escape the House." The producer and company sound excited about it.

Currently, my goal for this year is to finally finish a full manuscript. I've never managed to finish one before and I'm 100% determined.

Going to query a novel (series) for the first time this year, so my only real goal on that front is for something to happen with it. As for things in my control, I hope to finish the Xtreme Saga Book II outline by May and have the first chapter written by the end of June. After that, the rest of the novel will flow at a steady pace.
