Seeking Acting Opportunities: U.S. Army Veteran to Film and TV

Hey everyone! I'm on the lookout for auditions or roles in any production—paid or unpaid—as I continue to craft my journey in the acting world. After retiring as a U.S. Army Veteran in 2019, with 33 years of dedicated service including time in Afghanistan, I've transitioned into the exciting realm of acting.

I understand we can't post headshots or photos here, but I'd love for you to take a peek at my bio on Stage 32 for a deeper dive into my background and what I bring to the table. With my military discipline and resilience, I'm eager to bring authenticity and a unique perspective to any role I take on.

If you hear of any leads or casting calls that might fit, please don't hesitate to reach out. All the Best, Glenn here in Mesa, Az --where it's 107F here today:)

Hi, Glenn Axelrod. I’m a Stage 32 Lounge Moderator. I wanted to let you know I moved your post from the Acting Lounge to the Your Stage Lounge.

The Acting Lounge isn’t the place to find acting opportunities. It’s a place to discuss acting, share content about acting (like videos and articles), interact with actors/actresses/voice actors/casting directors, and offer tips/advice on technique, audition strategies, headshots, and all other topics related to acting.

If you reword your post to ask other actors where you can find acting opportunities, your post can go in the Acting Lounge.

You could also search the Job Board for acting opportunities (www.stage32.com/find-jobs). It’s updated regularly.

Let me know if you have any questions.

You're welcome, Glenn Axelrod. Here are some blogs about networking (www.stage32.com/blog/tags/networking-41). I'm not an actor, but networking on Stage 32 is how I get a lot of jobs. Hope it's the same for you.
