I guess you've been at this a while, Clark Tolleson . "Autopilot" reminds me of what can happen with a musical instrument. After enough repetition, you don't have to think so much. The hands (memory) take(s) over. You understand the form and structure thoroughly so that you know your interpretive direction at any point in the piece (story). Hats off to you. That kind of mastery requires colossal commitment.
