Hey everyone! The project that's been haunting my dreams for 7 years is finally getting off the ground. We've got the team, we've got the momentum, we've even gotten to pitch to some interested execs - we just need the funds to realize a Proof of Concept. BINGE is a TV series about maturation, identity, and finding hope in a hopeless place. In it we follow 2 deadbeat couch potatoes unpacking their stunted youths as they race to escape a kaleidoscopic and surreal TV world. In the immersive vein of Wandavision or Stay Tuned, the show uses the backdrop of television itself as a spectral lens to examine how we interact with TV; how we create narratives of our own lives which can either trap us or liberate us.
I believe in this project. More than just its humor and excitement, I know there's something important for modern audiences here. I want to reach out to those who feel stuck - paralyzed and powerless - and help them find the hope to rise up out of that dark place. My amazing team believes in this too. I hope you'll join us.
