With the success of JOKER and THE PENGUIN, DC is spinning off more of their villains. It's such an interesting strategy to compete with Marvel's heroes. What do you think about how much we love these bad guys and are there any other super villains that you'd want to see developed for film or TV?
I'm looking forward to Bane and Deathstroke movies, Sam Sokolow, especially Bane! I think some people like to see stories from the villain POV, like they do with Crime movies. I want to see a Shredder movie.
Yeah, it’s wild how DC is flipping the script by making their villains the stars. I think people are drawn to these characters because they’re complex, flawed, and have more shades of gray than the typical hero story. They’re relatable in a weird way, and it’s refreshing to see them navigate their own struggles.
As for who I'd want to see next, I'd be down for a Mr. Freeze story that digs into his tragic backstory and motivations—it’s got that potential for deep emotional storytelling. Also, maybe a full-on Lex Luthor series, showing his rise to power and how he rationalizes being the 'hero' of his own story. It’d be dope to see more villains get that layered treatment!

Very cool indeed. DC does seem to do villainy better than Marvel. It's in the IP of course.

Good zag by them. People love anti-heroes and it's probably the best way to combat all the Marvel sunshine pumping.

It's exciting because DC has incredible villains! A dark sci-fi about Brainiac or an action-packed Gotham City Sirens would be fun!
