This weekend I am a finalist in 2 Washington DC film festival screenplay award categories for my semi-autobiographical work MAFIA PROM DATE. My entire family will be attending. That’s the good news. Two days later I have major knee surgery scheduled. That’s the bad news. Life is a roller coaster ride.
