On Feb. 9th 1964, the Beatles performed on the Ed Sullivan Show for the first time.
I watched it as a kid, and it's an odd feeling knowing what you did PRECISELY on a given date over a half century ago!
As I recall, it was the first of 3 consecutive weeks of appearances for those guys from Liverpool on the Sullivan show.
And I'll continue here with some more of the Original Artists who made their contributions to the British Invasion.

My 19-year-old granddaughter is in Liverpool now studying guitar at Paul McCartney's Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts. Her admission audition was with him via Zoom. She couldn't believe how blown away I was by that.
