Introduce Yourself : Introducing myself in the Introduce Yourself Lounge ;) by Cannon Rosenau

I hope y'all are doing well this weekend! I'm a screenwriter, but we all know that just means professional hustler.

Was originally going to go to law school, but God steered me another way (He's a bit smarter than me in my decision making habits). So I graduated in 2016 with my MFA in Script and Screenwriting. My final project was optioned immediately which was a real confidence booster. I've since written on contract, for a web show, have several awards and accolades, and I also have an agent. My most recent success is that my Christian Rom-Com is currently under a shopping agreement with Autumn Bailey Entertainment (producer of On a Wing and a Prayer with Dennis Quaid and Heather Graham).

I do have to admit that I'm in a bit of a lull, but I think after the strikes and before that, that strange year 2020, and not to mention the platform shifts, I think this might be common if you're not affiliated with a studio. But things are looking upward, IMO. My agent, myself, and my PR friend/casting director are currently rebuilding our production team for a wrestling comedy that fell by the wayside due to the aforementioned hiccups. We are also working on getting a 20% equity investor, as one of their peeps can fund the rest).

My first love is comedy (I was even almost named after a beloved SNL character), but I don't like raunchy comedy. I love The Wedding Singer, Benchwarmers, any Drew Barrymore rom-com, any family pic with Jennifer Garner, My Big Fat Greek Wedding, Happy Gilmore (Adam Sandler much?), Wayne's World, Peanut Butter Falcon, and anything between the years 1930-1949. Oh and I think Vince Vaughn is hot because he looks like my husband.
