Hi Everyone, My name is Mark Glentworth. My composition work has covered a very wide spectrum of music ranging from commercial songwriting to orchestral composition and opera, my Vibraphone solo “Blues for Gilbert” has become the most recorded and performed piece of its kind ever with over a million views on YouTube and has been used in film and television too.
More recently I have been performing my award winning “Off-Fest nominated” solo autobiographical Gig Theatre Show, “SEVEN and a half YEARS”
I’m also widely known for my forty plus years collaboration with the British playwright/actor Steven Berkoff composing and performing my live scores on many of his celebrated theatre productions around the world.
“SEVEN and a half YEARS” has been described as an incredible true story of survival, and rejuvenation, you can read the reviews/videos & history of the show here. https://sevenandahalfyears.co.uk/
When in my recovery I was ready to tell my story, the first draft of the script met with a unanimous reaction..“This is an incredible true story, you have to make Film”
Why then did I take it to the the stage, a show that is most definitely not a musical but a story told through the power of music. Well for several reasons, to refine the script and find the truth, the narrative spine, the real experience of this extraordinary and personal story, and so it was first a theatre show
Now I am ready to bring this story to life in the world of film… Dear fellow creatives do take a look at the shows website and get in contact if it inspires and interests you in regards to film, if that is your area. I am currently touring Italy with an incredibly talented blind singer pianist Frida Bollani and looking forwards to connecting with you all here on Stage32

Oh great I will look at your work...
