Hey there, community...
I have over 250 distinct ideas in development in some stage, and I am not only willing to share them, but would like to try an experiment where anyone who would like to can expand and brainstorm around some premises I list...
Here are three to start, and I would love to hear what all of you out there think. If any of these inspire you, I would like to hear how you would flesh out the story, what the main or side characters might be like, what the "B-Story" might be, or just if you had a cool idea for a scene...
Also, if you want any of these ideas, let me know and I will cross them off my list so I don't make a similar screenplay.
1) 102 – (INDUSTRIAL REVELATION – FEATURE – sci-fi/action/religious/comedy) When the biblical Apocalypse begins, and the end of humanity is imminent, a group of computer programmers for the NSA decide to re-activate the self-aware AI that they shut down to stop a global cataclysm. Once they convince it that the spiritual beings pose a greater threat to the machines than humanity, a truce is formed and the machines set out to end the end times – until some of the self-aware machines with consciousness ascend to heaven, causing the AI to question the motives of its programmers and humanity to question what it means to have a soul.
2) 12 – (M3S54GES – FEATURE – fantasy) A man who begins to see patterns everywhere in his everyday life becomes aware that they are messages from powerful forces trying to guide him on a path of their choosing. When he encounters others who are similarly being directed, shaky alliances quickly form upon the realization that they have been chosen in a contest where the winner will be granted unimaginable power in the afterlife.
3) 206 – (untitled - FEATURE – self-made-superhero/action) A bullied, yet inventive college student must use all of his ingenuity to infiltrate a criminal organization after they perpetrate a mail heist in order to steal back the missing mail-ordered piece of his latest invention which will save his terminally ill sister – but when he learns the horrible truth of what the criminals were after, he must decide what is more important: stopping them or saving his sister – and whether he can do both.
Let me know what you think. :)
