In December 1983 an artist called Rockwell released a song called, "Somebody's Watching Me," which featured Michael and Jermaine Jackson.
I'm a publicist who works with performers (music clients), filmmakers, authors, and more. I used to marvel at people who would tell me that they'd get contacted out of the blue by someone they didn't know who had a fantastic opportunity (offer) for them. (Of the legitimate variety, I should add.) Ultimately it would be, "We've been watching what you're doing and (insert offer here)." That's one of those, "Why doesn't this ever happen to me" things.
Lo and behold, fast forward to present day and I do get people who tell me that they've been watching what I'm doing -- unbeknownst to me. Case in point -- and by no means am I counting my chickens before they're hatched -- within the last few days I put an upcoming Google Meet with a potential client on the calendar. That alone wouldn't be impressive, but the fact that it's someone who had previously contacted me in late summer of 2022 is rather eye opening. She said that she has been watching and been impressed with all the results I've been getting for one of my current clients, who she knows.
I also know that she opens my weekly e-newsletter pretty regularly. So, when you think no one cares about what you're sending out or posting on social media or writing on your website, take encouragement from the above.

Hi, Bruce Wawrzyniak. Thanks for encouraging the community. I've experienced this a lot. It mainly happens on Stage 32, which shows how important it is to be active in the Lounges, Blogs, Writers' Room, etc. Hope the Google Meet goes great and you get the client!
