Screenwriting : Pitch Tank by Tasha McLemore

Pitch Tank

Hello fellow screenwriters! Today I had the honor of participating in today's pitch tank with Kay, Geoff, John, and our wonderful guest, Emmeline Yang Hankins! Mind you, I have pitched many, many times, but the nerves are always there. I stuttered, stumbled, but got I through it. Emmeline gave WONDERFUL NOTES on how to present a pitch. What to put in the beginning, how to present key factors even with minimal time, and how to present the tone, and not just the plot. The same with John, and Geoff.

Well, even with my nervousness, I was able to get some laughs from those in attendance, and my script, Men and Pause was requested to be read! I am so excited as I have put so much into this project! For anyone who wants to pitch, DO IT! Come to pitch practice, so that you can be ready for those executives! I am so happy right now! If I can do it, you can too! Thank you Emmeline, I hope you like it!
