Hey everyone!
I’m Akcshat, a 23-year-old aspiring writer-director from India, currently preparing to move to Los Angeles to study film and dive deeper into storytelling. I’ve recently joined Stage 32, and I’m genuinely excited to be here, surrounded by people who live and breathe this craft.
My creative focus is on grounded, psychological science fiction stories that explore human behavior, inner conflict, and the thin line between reality and perception. David Fincher’s work has been a huge influence on me, especially his attention to detail, character psychology, and precise visual storytelling.
Right now, I’m sharpening my writing, learning how to build honest characters, emotional depth, and structure that sticks before jumping into full-on directing.
Since I’m moving to LA very soon, I’d love to hear from anyone who’s been through that journey. Any advice about navigating the industry, finding creative collaborators, or even just living in LA as a film student, I’d be truly grateful.
