Well, this weekend I had the opportunity to work as a volunteer for the great Stage32 during the Holly Shorts Film Festival opening weekend.
It's always good to do volunteer work, especially in the entertainment industry.
Assisting the lovely Kay Ross was one of the highlights.
I'd encourage all of you to volunteer for a film festival or industry event, it's a great way to meet people.
So, tell me:
How can you give back to the industry as a volunteer to finish out this year?

Hey, Anthony McBride. That's great that you volunteered for Stage 32 during the Holly Shorts Film Festival! I'll look into volunteering. Either online or in person. Thanks for the idea.

Anthony McBride I was there on Thursday for our Stage 32 Short Film Program screening. The energy was electric opening night and it was great to meet so many talented filmmakers all in one place! I met an animation director from Australia, a composer from Brooklyn, a producer of The Nice Guys, countless writers / directors / actors/editors/producers/grips/gaffers/sound mixers/etc, and of course all of our Program filmmakers for the first time in person, which was a real treat! Thank you again for volunteering. I can attest that just being in the theatre lobby for a couple hours, the excitement is palpable as so many great industry people come together in one place. Our whole team deeply appreciated your help this weekend. Until next year!
