Yes, my background in Criminology definitely helps. It gives me deeper insight into human behavior and real-world cases. Two of my screenplays even include a criminal component inspired by true events, which helps me ground the stories in realism while still building suspense and emotional impact.

Wow, what a great collection of creators. Life is an amazing creation to begin with, but we who have been created also can create beliefs, stories, and results of we have observed and expressed to our fellow man and woman. Me, I'm an old dude, who began to fulfill his life ambition after retiring from working jobs to create income for myself and family. Now at my age, in my late 80-'s, I have fulfilled my life time dream of writing novels, poetry, plays, and even a couple lousy screenplays. Check out DaveBorlandWriter.com if you want to see some of my writings in my second life. Seeing all of you folks at your young ages going after your lifetime dream of creation is so wonderful. Just keep it up; you must express your observations and stories of this sacred and unique time of what we call life. As the title in one of my books states, "Each Day Is A Life"; so each of us must try to fulfill your personal view and belief in this unique time frame, that we call life.

My screenplays are inspired by real events, personal stories, crime, imagination, and even dreams. I love blending those influences into supernatural and crime-driven worlds — very much in the tone of The Conjuring or Insidious. Let’s see what the future holds.

Hi Anna. I noted that you write horror, thrillers, and dramas inspired by true history. Mostly, I do, but I don't have a handle on the thriller genre. I also like to write comedy. And your criminology background certainly gives you the credentials for horror and thrillers.
