I’m Hariprasath Rajan, a Screenwriter and Director based in Dubai with a passion for telling stories that blend emotion, culture, and thought-provoking ideas. My focus is on grounded storytelling that connects deeply with audiences, while weaving in unexpected twists to keep them engaged and invested.

Recently, I've written & directed a short film here in Dubai called “The Vision,” which won Best Screenplay and Best Film at Paramount’s We Create Drama Film Festival, along with nominations for Best Actor, Best Cinematography, and Best Director. The film was shot within 24 hours using sync sound and completed in just 7 days of post-production. It also serves as the first 10 minutes of my feature film script, which I’m currently developing and seeking funding for. Here’s the logline for The Vision:
Set in a luxurious hotel, “The Vision” unfolds a gripping narrative as a butler takes drastic action by kidnapping a guest’s child for a bizarre demand. When a skilled negotiator intervenes, uncovering hidden truths and deceit, the film transforms into a suspenseful journey that challenges perceptions and unravels a complex web of secrets transforming the entire plot.

The Vision is incredible, Hariprasath Rajan! It's intense, suspenseful, and gripping! Shot within 24 hours and only 7 days of post-production. Wow! That's really impressive! It looks like a studio movie.
