Glad you enjoyed it, Leonardo. Further proof that we are only out of it when we choose to take ourselves out of it. Best wishes to you.

How inspiring.....I took an extended pauses after a 30 year business career to travel the world with my wife as we research our 3 year in the making passion project - Dixie Dynamite. We are both 56 and have questioned if this is the age to pursue something like this.

I don't know that I would recommend starting your own film festival, Darrell, but I wish you all the best with your film. I am 62 and continue to reinvent myself, so here's to us more seasoned creators!

Thank you!! I have a creative writing degree but once I started my business career, I just focused intently on that. In retrospect, I did not have fulfilling stories to tell in my 20's and 30's and would not have been ready to tell good stories until recently. Dixie Dynamite is intended to be a 10 episode per season 3 season serial and I personally have a LOT of faith in it but I still question the timing in my life so hearing from similarly situated story tellers is indeed motivating. Now that I have started writing I have 2 other pilots completed and approx 12 other ideas in the ground floor stage. It appears as if I finally found my voice haha.
