Introduce Yourself : Hello! by Chikaima Uwakwe

Chikaima Uwakwe

Hello!

Hey everyone! I’m Miguel—a storyteller at heart who wears a few different hats. I’m a screenwriter, designer, and software engineer, and I’m always chasing new ways to bring ideas to life.

Right now, I’m working on my passion project, Rise of the Rejects—a sci-fi/dystopian story set in Africa that mixes action, rebellion, and a whole lot of heart. Worldbuilding and character creation are my jam (half the time my notebook looks like a mini universe in progress).

When I’m not writing, I dive into UI/UX design and frontend dev, basically blending creativity and tech to craft cool digital experiences.

I joined Stage32 to connect with fellow creatives, swap stories, and maybe even spark some awesome collaborations. If you’re into bold ideas, deep conversations, or just geeking out over characters and plots, we’ll probably get along just fine.

Excited to be here—let’s create some magic together!

Hi Miguel! I really liked how you introduced yourself and your project.

The atmosphere of Uprising of the Outcasts sounds powerful and vivid — it shows that you truly know how to build worlds.

I’ll be glad to follow your creative journey here

ok ready for a dope review? by dope I mean painfully honest, don't worry it's not all bad. this stupid app I never wanted is obstructing my phone. maybe you can help me get rid of it. (duh?? dude, just look in your apps. oh, that's right.)

ok, Rise of the Rejects (stupid emojis, I can't find the horizontal hand, just imagine Robert DeNiro making that full body gesture with the horizontal hand to say it's got possibilities, meaning he needs more to know if he's really interested) has possibilities but nothing in life means anything until those possibilities become realities. But, in your favor, I'd ask to see more, which is big in screenwriting since the majority of responses will be dead silence, so even a rejection (no pun intended) is good. it's. eats some 1 is noticing your work.

stupid stage 32 app. it works against me. or is it this stupid android I'm stuck with? someone please send me a million dollars so I can get out of this technically.

I personally like Rise of the Rejects even though it's so cliché and has been done before a million times in a million different ways. So I open the curtain and what do I see?

sci-fi

Marc Ginsburg

sci-fi dystopian African. Now that I like because it's unique. if you wrote a killer (don't take that literally) script, it'll give Wakanda a run for it's well raked in money (I loved that film).

i know you're talking about yourself and you're not pitching but you're gonna have to pitch to give your script any legs. You used a bunch of adjectives and concepts, which is not bad, particularly the world building part because that word tells me your are one of us good people, and very creative in spirit. but we need details, facts on the ground. That means the potential producer/studio needs to see a one sentence Synopsis. What happens in the film?

your tech paragraph is great. it tells us, and any potential agent or producer that your mind is very grounded in the world we live in, and, in fact, with my own script including a geeky teen boy with over the top hacking g abilities, which get him grounded for most tod the series till now but in the future the Isgpvrrnment will pull him out of jail to recruit him for a spy agency job, in which he hacks into the Chinese system and destroys key dats the Chinese need and his boss comes in yelling and stroctly tells him he's there only for espionage, not to stsrt a war and he can br sent right back to jail if he gets cute again. i gotta go now but if you could help me wkth technical language so my script could be as high language as The Big Bang Theory and to science, cause I know Chuck Lorre and none of the writers (I'm gonna kill this androio)) had any clue on their own what those words meant.

“Great intro, Miguel. Rise of the Rejects sounds powerful — Africa as the backdrop for rebellion is such a fresh choice. I’m also drawn to bold, offbeat ideas (my latest has a turkey causing mayhem in a casino

Welcome, Miguel! Your passion for sci-fi and worldbuilding really resonates with me. I’m currently developing a concept called Two Faces of the Moon — a story about humanity colonizing a divided Moon, one side with gravity and the other weightless, sparking political and social conflict. Since you love bold ideas and character-driven stories, maybe we could exchange thoughts or even collaborate. Great to meet you here!

Chikaima Uwakwe

thank you so much Quang Nguyễn, and yes, I would really love to work on that! sending you a message now

That’s amazing, Miguel — I’m really excited to collaborate with you! Looking forward to your message and to building this world together.
