I am in the early stages of developing a documentary focused on State Defense Forces one of the most overlooked components of America’s military framework. Unlike the National Guard, State Defense Forces cannot be federalized, making them the states’ own sovereign military power. This project will highlight their unique role, operations, and history both on a state-by-state level and within the broader national context. I am excited to bring this story to life and shed light on the vital contributions of these little-known military forces.
I've never made a documentary before this is my first go at it. I'm seeking others who have experience in this area. thank you.
