“Il Fu Italo Matteucci” (English: The Late Italo Matteucci).
THE STORY
Set in Fascist Italy during the 1930s and 1940s, Il Fu Italo Matteucci follows Italo, a sixteen-year-old boy and the son of a powerful fascist leader — a man known as “the right hand of the Duce”. Raised within the oppressive regime, Italo begins to question the ideology he was born into. His journey of resistance, betrayal, and identity unfolds across a divided country, as he confronts family loyalty, political terror, and the price of freedom.
This is a coming-of-age war drama infused with emotional depth, rich historical settings, and powerful moral dilemmas — perfect for audiences who loved The King’s Affection, A Hidden Life, Peaky Blinders, or The Pianist.

Congratulations on all the success with your series! The story sounds interesting! You could post your pilot script on your profile. Producers search profiles for projects. That's how I sold four short scripts to a producer (plus networking). Click the gear symbol in the top right-hand corner and select “Edit profile” in the drop-down menu. Scroll down to “Loglines” and click “Add/edit loglines” to the right of “Loglines.” You can also post your script on your profile this way: www.stage32.com/loglines (near the top where it says “Add a Logline”)
