Adapting a Novel, The Genes of Wrath

I am so happy be a part of this so talented Stage32 creative community to offer support and collaboration in making all of our dreams come true.   For the past 30 years, I've been trying to get my screenplay adaptation, Olympiad Atlantis: The Naked Truce, greenlit into a motion picture, which is based the novel:The Genes of Wrath. Logline: A black sci-fi comedy about an insecure teenage geek, who is slated to be the eleventh ruler of the universe, is kidnapped by a colony of women who teach him true love, which gives him the supernatural powers to save future civilizations from destruction. My son and his friends recently graduated from Academy of Art University in San Francisco, who also have screenplays and book manuscripts collecting dust. So, for my day job I work in the software industry, where we have been trying to level the playing field so "every hero(ine) can tell their story.  Thanks so much for making this community so collaborative and real, where we can help each other make all of our dreams come true.

Hi, Greg Mandanis. Glad you're part of the community. Congratulations to your son and his friends on graduating!

Olympiad Atlantis: The Naked Truce sounds really unique and interesting! You could post your script on your profile. Producers search profiles for projects. That and networking are how I sold four short scripts to a producer. Click the gear symbol in the top right-hand corner and select “Edit profile” in the drop-down menu. Scroll down to “Loglines” and click “Add/edit loglines” to the right of “Loglines.” You can also post your script on your profile this way: www.stage32.com/loglines (near the top where it says “Add a Logline”)

Thanks a lot Maurice Vaughan for the kind words and the helpful pointers!

You're welcome, Greg Mandanis. Have you thought about entering screenplay contests? Stage 32 is the Global Screenwriting Contest Hub (www.stage32.com/scriptservices/contests).

Greg Mandanis

Thanks a lot Maurice Vaughan for the reminder, I'll have to look into those!
