I have published numerous essays, a novel, poetry, and co-authored the play Sistas on Fire! A Newsical, which was produced Off-Off Broadway. I have always been a creative writer, but I started writing for film about five years ago. I've completed three screenplays so far: The Sus List, The Dark Child and The Open Window. Each has made the semi-finals in various film festivals. I've had a few requests from producers on Stage 32. I am so grateful for a place like this. I was really struggling with how to get thoughtful feedback on my screenplays and how to network in the film community. I might be late to the game at 68, but I live by better late than never!
