So, when I'm not spending hours writing emails to studio execs or looking for funds to produce the trailer for my feature animated film, I've begun developing a middle school graphic novel series based on the screenplay as another means of promoting the movie. It will be three books (the first one is called The Journey) encompassing the entire screenplay and loaded with illustrations drawn by moi, which turns out to be the most time consuming part. Quite often, people tell me they like to have something tangible, like a book, in their hands to get a grasp on the characters and the storyline.
In addition, I'm approaching several war dog associations in the hopes they will lend their support behind my project. I read that the producers for the animated film Sgt. Stubby went down the same road to lure investors. And in between all that, I'm still scouting for artists who would want to join me on this venture as part of my team. If there's anyone out there who'd enjoy working on a truly inspiring story about a group of dogs on a thrilling journey across No Man's Land...filled with action-adventure, comedy, danger, hope and love, DM me at frankdetrano77@gmail.com I'm always willing to chat.
Hi, Frank Detrano. I’m a Stage 32 Lounge Moderator. I wanted to let you know I moved your post from the Animation Lounge to the Your Stage Lounge. The Your Stage Lounge is a space where members can share updates on projects. If your update mentions a service you used on Stage 32, it's an update for a Stage 32 contest/event, your post starts a conversation that’s helpful/educational to the community (like giving advice or asking a question), or you're asking for feedback, you can put it in the Animation Lounge/a main Lounge. Let me know if you have any questions.
You could make a collaboration post on the Job Board (www.stage32.com/find-jobs).
