The current plan is to do a series of developmental readings and a workshop beginning early in January, 2026. A fully staged production will follow as soon as the money is raised. The concept is to make the experience as immersive as possible for audiences, combining late 18th century theatrical conventions with 21st century technology.
Relatively large cast of a minimum of 33 actor-singer-dancers all of whom perform multiple roles under the Actors' Equity Favored Nations Agreement. Musicians: minimum of 24 per the requirements of Local 802. Parity with actors. The cinematically rapidly changing scenery will be "painterly" and the costumes will be best described as "a designer's wet dream."
