Screenwriting : How to get represented. by Wade Pessin

How to get represented.

I have a pitch I am trying to get in front of specific people and I am not sure how I go about getting represented to make that happen. Anyone have any insight?

Have you checked out the Script Services section? It lets you pitch directly to your choice of executives — you can even filter them by genre.”

I missed my free month of writers room and I'm wanting to have someone in pocket that I can go to with future projects as well.

You could pitch to managers through Stage 32's Pitch Sessions, Wade Pessin (www.stage32.com/scriptservices/pitch-sessions). The Pitch Sessions are primarily to get feedback on your pitch, but some writers have been signed by managers (www.stage32.com/scriptservices/success-stories).

You could enter screenwriting contests that get your script in front of agents and managers. Stage 32 is the Global Screenwriting Contest Hub (www.stage32.com/scriptservices/contests).

You could also search for managers, agents, producers, etc. with IMDBPro (https://pro.imdb.com/signup).

And it's Stage 32's November Write Club. It's a chance to connect with writers, directors, producers, etc., and it could help you reach a goal(s). There's going to be prizes too! If you're interested in joining Write Club, Week 1's blog came out the other day (www.stage32.com/blog/november-write-club-week-1-how-to-find-build-the-cr...).
