Screenwriting : Does the rise of ai actors affect our writing in tv shows? by Ron Reid

Does the rise of ai actors affect our writing in tv shows?

Should we refuse to write for shows that have AI actors in the future? Should we take a stand with SAG and ACTRA against this? Would it make a difference if you were paid to write a story for a Character that will be AI generated? https://www.instagram.com/reel/DQ9vQp3kzIj/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&...

I think we should refuse to write for shows that have AI actors, Ron Reid. I think we should take a stand with SAG and ACTRA against it. It would make a difference if I was offered a job to write a story for a character that'll be AI generated. I wouldn't take it.

I think we all need to remember that AI is a tool we should use to advance humans... Not replace us. No, I would not write for AI actors and actresses to play my characters.

If actors can be replaced by AI, so can we. I feel like we should leave enhancement tools in their proper place and stand up for working humans in the industry.

AI actors don't get tired. Have bad voice days. Face breakouts. Get sick. They also have no emotion or soul to bring to the work. The performance will lack for it. And the second part is way more important than a bad hair day

So no. I can't back AI acting.
