How do you prioritize when you have a LOT of auditions?

Hey everyone. I'm interested to know what everyone else does. I am in the fortunate position to have three agents and between the three of them, I get a lot of auditions... well, more than I used to anyway. This week I had six.

Normally, I'll do them in the order in which they are due. Closest gator to the boat wins. If I get them early enough, I try to at least turn them in three days ahead of time if I can. Of course, I know, you should get them in ASAP but sometimes that's not possible and I have to wait a day or two.

But I've also heard that some Actors will put more emphasis on which one pays the best and knock that one out first. Or which one is easiest to do, or which one is the most fun if you get the part, or just doing them in the order they come in.

Let me hear what you've got! Have a GREAT day!

Brandon congratulations on having such a busy audition schedule. When I was juggling multiple submissions I would first get clear on any hard deadlines and make sure those pieces were memorized and rehearsed before moving to work that could wait. I also tried to match the time I spent on an audition to the significance of the role and my personal interest in the project. If a part excited me or aligned with my long term goals I would invest more energy into the preparation. It also helped to block off quiet time on my calendar for each audition so I could focus fully without distraction. Keeping organized notes on each script and character made it easier to switch gears quickly. Hope that helps and keep up the momentum.
