SIDE CHARACTERS ANIMATE WEBSERIES

In a dystopian future, a group of miners are sent to a fertile planet to extract minerals and essential resources. Once the work is complete, they are sent home, but no one shows up. Thus, a new planet is born. Its inhabitants must work together to find a way home. But the situation becomes complicated when factions emerge, fighting among themselves for survival. A critique of today's society, a political fantasy presented by a team of professionals. An ambitious debut for the Axes Team.

When all institutions collapse, the world's inhabitants no longer have a way to find themselves and are overwhelmed by every stimulus the city offers. Side Characters is about these people who see hope crumble around them and find a way forward in a world adrift. Each episode tells a different story: art, war, technology, science fiction, fashion, revolt, and hope are just some of the themes the characters will explore. The audience will be captivated by the carefully researched and presented photography of landscapes and people.

The story unfolds, narrated by a different character in each episode. Each character has their own voice actor, attitude, and language.

The story's structure is based on Kim Hudson's "The Virgin Promise." This narrative parallels Christopher Vogler's "hero's journey."

I'm Emanuele - director, screenwriter, animator, editor

A year ago, I graduated from a film academy. Through my time there, it didn't take me long to get to know my closest collaborators. The various courses have produced graduates of sound technicians, animators, screenwriters, voice actors, and soundtrack composers. With a team of passionate and talented young people, an ambitious and creative project was born. Every day, we work and dedicate our time and efforts to something bigger, a dream of ours. This isn't just a project for us, but the beginning of a career, our debut in the film industry here on Kickstarter. I hope our passion transcends the screen and welcomes you with us on our journey.

FAIL ON KICKSTARTER - WEB SERIES

I've launched two Kickstarter campaigns, dedicating months of my time to writing, directing, character designing, animating, and sponsoring.

After eight months of dedicating hours and hours to this project every day, I find myself having wasted time and money. I admit, I need help. This isn't just a project, it's the beginning of the careers of many artists who count on me. I don't think this is just a sad reminder of how difficult it is to start a project. After months, I still believe in my ideas every day because I'm convinced of the potential of my web series. I thank everyone who decides to check out my Kickstarter page.
