Black screen: A faint sound fades in gradually, resembling the ringing in one’s ears.
Scene 1: Int. The Room:
Over Sofia’s faint voice, slowly rising clearer and clearer, So-yeon stirs awake.
She blinks, her vision blurry, her head pounding with dizziness.
The haze gradually sharpens, in sync with the sound becoming clearer.
She looks around.
A nearly dark room. Four walls surround the space, with two facing each other covered entirely in sharp iron spikes, aligned in a perfectly straight, organized pattern.
No windows. No doors.
A single lamp hangs from the ceiling, casting a warm orange glow over most of the room, while other corners remain dim, leaving a cinematic contrast of light and shadow.
Eight other people sit bound to black chairs, restrained by both their hands and legs. The chairs form a perfect circle, allowing each person to see everyone else in the room.
From the right armrest of each chair extends a thin pole, holding a small tablet screen directly in front of its occupant.
In the center of the circle stands a cylindrical column, about one meter tall and a quarter meter wide, topped with a dome shaped button glowing grey.
So-yeon tries to move her hands only to realize she’s bound, wrists and ankles strapped tightly to the chair.
Her eyes dart across the room: strangers everywhere.
Across from her, Sofia is speaking to Jason.
SOFIA
If they wanted to kill us, like you said…
They would’ve done it already while we were asleep.

Hi, Mohamed Ker. Welcome to the community. I’m a Stage 32 Lounge Moderator. I wanted to let you know I moved your post from the Screenwriting Lounge to the Your Stage Lounge because it’s promotion. Promotion can go in the Your Stage Lounge and on Your Wall.
You can put promotion in a discipline Lounge (Screenwriting Lounge, Producing Lounge, Filmmaking/Directing Lounge, etc.) if your post starts a conversation that’s helpful or educational to the community, like giving advice or asking a question.
You can also put promotion in one of the discipline Lounges if you're asking for feedback.
Let me know if you have any questions.
