Hey everyone,
It’s been a while since I posted here. I’ve been studying Nuke, Roto, and basic compositing recently, and I’m working on rebuilding my workflow and portfolio for my brand 7stcut.
Right now I’m focusing on:
– Clean roto work
– Basic compositing & integration
– Learning more about advanced node-based VFX
– Building consistency in my daily practice
I’d love to connect with:
✔ VFX artists
✔ Compositors
✔ Indie filmmakers
✔ Anyone working on small or mid-level VFX projects
If you have tips, practice tasks, collaboration ideas, or even small shots to practice on, feel free to share.
Let’s help each other grow.
What was the very first real VFX shot you ever worked on?
(I’d love to hear your stories!)

Hi Behnam Hojati, I am mainly into Nuke and Houdini myself, and would love share ideas. I also have a free VFX course on Youtube that might help: https://www.youtube.com/@gyltefors/courses

Thanks for reaching out! It's awesome to connect with someone who's working with both Nuke and Houdini. I’m currently diving deep into Nuke myself and focusing on building a solid compositing workflow. I’d love to check out your VFX course on YouTube and exchange ideas about the VFX process. Looking forward to learning and collaborating in the future!
