Screenwriting : So I tried Sora... by Jeffrey B. Wayne

So I tried Sora...

I just copy/pasted a snippet of a scene I was working on into Sora (just straight scene text with no additional description) and I've got to say --- wow. Had me tweak a line and was really helpful in making sure my scene was described as I envisioned.

Interesting Jeffrey B. Wayne. You can tell it's not ready for prime time yet but no harm in using it to help describe a scene. I simply had fun playing around in it.

Jeffrey B. Wayne

Leonardo Ramirez I agree. Another tool in the tool belt.

Can you post what you wrote? I'd be interested to see how descriptive you were of the location and scene description. Thanks.

Jay Clark Surprisingly it was just the below:

EXT. ANGELA’S HOUSE - DAY

The Alien Chasers’ van parks one lot down from Angela’s house.

Kief, Tommy, Lester, and SEVERAL AGENTS in black gear step out. As Kief and the agents advance toward the house, Tommy motions for Lester to start rolling.

Tommy hangs back a safe distance, whispering to camera:

TOMMY

Hello, fellow Chasers. On a very special episode, we’re tracking possible alien intelligence in this quiet suburban home.

Lester briefly zooms in on Angela’s house, then back to Tommy.

TOMMY

We always say The Truth is Somewhere—well today, the truth may be inside that house.
