Your Stage : John by Gabriel Santos

Gabriel Santos

John

I'm creating a script about a teenager with a traumatic life, involving school traumas, family traumas, and past traumas. I'm creating a script where I try to convey the truth, to connect with that audience who feel this way, to show them that they are not alone.

Hi, Gabriel Santos. Welcome to the community. I’m a Stage 32 Lounge Moderator. I wanted to let you know I moved your post from the Screenwriting Lounge to the Your Stage Lounge because it’s promotion. Promotion can go in the Your Stage Lounge and on Your Wall.

You can put promotion in a discipline Lounge (Screenwriting Lounge, Producing Lounge, Filmmaking/Directing Lounge, etc.) if your post starts a conversation that’s helpful or educational to the community, like giving advice or asking a question.

You can also put promotion in one of the discipline Lounges if you're asking for feedback.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Stage 32 has a blog that'll help you navigate the platform and connect with creatives and industry professionals all over the world. Producers, directors, executives, screenwriters, and more. www.stage32.com/blog/how-to-successfully-navigate-the-stage-32-platform-...

Stage 32's next Community Open House is Dec 29th (www.stage32.com/education/products/stage-32-s-december-community-open-ho...). It's free to attend, and it's an interactive event where you can ask questions. It'll also help you navigate Stage 32 and connect with creatives and industry pros. Even if you can’t make it to the Open House, sign up and you’ll get the recording in your Stage 32 Education Library when it’s available.

You're welcome, Gabriel Santos. Your script sounds interesting. You could post it on your profile when it's ready. Producers search profiles for projects. That and networking are how I sold four short scripts to a producer. Click the gear symbol in the top right-hand corner and select “Edit profile” in the drop-down menu. Scroll down to “Loglines” and click “Add/edit loglines” to the right of “Loglines.” You can also post your script on your profile this way: www.stage32.com/loglines (near the top where it says “Add a Logline”)

Thank you, I appreciate your advice. I'm still working on a screenplay; I intend to write a 100-page script, and I'm trying my best to make it moving.
