2026 — Year of the Horse. And You Are the Riders.

Friends,

I sincerely wish all of you that 2026 — the Year of the Fire Horse — carries you straight toward your dream.

May this year be fast, bold, and unstoppable.

May the Fire Horse pull you through doubts, rejections, and obstacles —

and may you ride proudly all the way to the вершина славы — the peak of success.

To writers, producers, directors, actors —

everyone who creates stories and worlds:

Run against the traffic.

Don’t slow down.

Hold the reins tight.

Aleksandr, your words gallop with the energy of a Fire Horse! Here's to charging ahead into 2026 with creativity and courage, embracing challenges as part of the ride. May all our scripts find their stride and blaze a trail this year.

Hope you have an incredible year and reach your goals, Aleksandr Rozhnov! I'm looking forward to hearing what projects you work on this year!

Aleksandr Rozhnov

Thank you very much, Maurice. I truly appreciate your words.

This year I plan to complete at least three projects.

The first one is a TV series called “The Advocate of Absurdity.”

The logline is already available in my Loglines section. This project really grabbed me, and I feel a strong desire to bring it to life.

The second project is a feature film about a young autistic man who becomes a world billiards champion. I already have a full synopsis, and I worked on it closely with the real mother of an autistic child, who generously shared detailed insights into autistic behavior. That experience gave the story authenticity and depth.

The third project is a mystical feature film about God and the Devil — about why the Devil became the Devil, and the idea that God is among us, embodied as water. I deeply love water and once closely followed the work of a Japanese scientist who studied its unique properties. The subject is fascinating and profoundly inspiring.

These are the three core projects I am determined to finish this year.

I’m looking forward to sharing the journey here.
