We are halfway through the first week of the year! So... Creative check in!
I'm struggling to get words to the page this week. Catching up on post holiday housework, having my cat denuded, and emergencies with family have had me busy, but I've managed some pages on my feature.
How's it going this week? What are you writing or working on? How's your progress? Any struggles?

This week I finished episodes 4 and in the middle of episode 5 for my limited series. It amazes me how much the story bothers me as I write it- which mean it’s doing its job. psychological drama/societal thriller.

Hope everything works out with your family, Elle Bolan! What's denuded?
Congratulations on getting the pages done! I started outlining my first vertical short series, networked, and thought of some script ideas this week.

Thanks, Maurice Vaughan! Congrats on gettiing the vertical short series started. I might have to pick your brain. I've got a few ideas sitting in my head and in a notebook, so I'm curious to know how you felt writing them versus a traditional style format?

And congratulations to both of you on what you've accomplished so far this week.
You're welcome, Cynna Ael. Thank you. I'm outlining the vertical series. I haven't written a vertical script yet. I took Stage 32’s webinar "Understanding Vertical Storytelling "Verticals" 101." I recommend it! www.stage32.com/education/products/understanding-vertical-storytelling-v...
Thanks, Elle Bolan.

Lunar Window has me in such a chokehold that I'm on the verge of finishing it twice xD the first time to mainly nail the climax and this second time to patch up the admittedly slapdash ending. I want to finish it today for real but it might well have to be my birthday present to myself tomorrow xD

Thanks so much Elle Bolan! Yes, I thought I finished last week just before the new year but the ending wasn’t sitting with me (as well as a couple other plot holes) so I’m rewriting it and am hilariously close to finishing it. It’s definitely gonna be a great birthday present, even moreso if I can get my intended actor for John in the table read on board. Now I just gotta man up and commit to pitching it rofl

I recently created adult animation shows on bipedal anthropomorphic animals but without satire, dark humor, gore violence, and cynicism. I wan't to break those type of negative barriers and create a positive tone so that audiences who can't handle genre parodies or jokes about depression or seeing people getting excessively slaughtered or character's effort is teased in a mean way can be feeling relief about these concepts that has none of the factors that the adult animated shows have been produced for a long time. .
