Hi Guys! nice to meet you all! Im Thomas, and im here looking for a Screenwriter with XP in tv, in true crime, drama, something kinda "Dahmmer" feeling for a short gig. There is someone avaliable?
I've been screenwriting since the last century and have also written true crime books published worldwide. For more info on me, do visit www.philmscribe.com
Hi Thomas Lara, welcome to Stage 32. Great to have you here. I’m Ashley, the Head of Community here at Stage 32.
If you’re looking to quickly hire a writer for a specific project or short-term gig, the Stage 32 Job Board (https://www.stage32.com/find-jobs) is a great option. It allows you to clearly outline the scope, tone, and payment details so writers with the right experience can come directly to you.
That said, if you’re interested in finding strong writers you might want to work with long-term, the most effective path is getting involved in the Stage 32 Lounges. Posting to start conversations, sharing resources, asking thoughtful questions, and engaging with other members’ posts gives you a real sense of how writers think, communicate, and approach story. Taking the time to contribute and get to know the incredibly talented and passionate creatives in this community often leads to much stronger, more organic working relationships than a single job post alone.
Both approaches work well, it just depends on whether you’re solving an immediate need or building future collaborations.
I’d also love to echo Maurice and invite you to our FREE January Community Open House, where I walk through how to navigate Stage 32, build meaningful connections, and use the platform with confidence, whether you’re brand new or finding your footing:
Happy to have you here, and best of luck with the project.
I’m a cinematic story developer and writer with a strong focus on dark, psychological, and character-driven narratives. I work on building atmosphere, tension, and emotional depth — especially in crime and drama genres.
I’m very interested in projects with a tone similar to true-crime series and psychological thrillers, and I can help with story development, scene writing, and narrative structure for short formats.
I’d be happy to learn more about your project and see if we’re a good creative fit.

Welcome to Stage 32, Thomas.
The true crime / dramatic visual tone you mentioned is exactly the kind of atmosphere-driven storytelling we work with on the visual side.
Wishing you success finding the right screenwriter for the project.
