I just joined Stage32, and I wanted to start off by sharing my new teaser for my upcoming show, Word and Deed. I thought this be a good way to share a little of me and what I am working on. I hope to get to know some people on here. Thanks for watching.

Hi, Tammy Thompson. Welcome to the community. It's great to meet you. I’m a Stage 32 Lounge Moderator. I wanted to let you know I moved your post from the Filmmaking/Directing Lounge to the Your Stage Lounge because it’s promotion. Promotion can go in the Your Stage Lounge and on Your Wall.
You can put promotion in a discipline Lounge (Filmmaking/Directing Lounge, Producing Lounge, Distribution Lounge, etc.) if your post starts a conversation that’s helpful or educational to the community, like giving advice or asking a question.
You can also put promotion in one of the discipline Lounges if you're asking for feedback.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Stage 32 has a blog that'll help you navigate the platform and connect with creatives and industry professionals all over the world. Producers, executives, writers, actors, composers, and more. www.stage32.com/blog/how-to-successfully-navigate-the-stage-32-platform-...
Stage 32's next Community Open House will be January 28th. It'll also help you navigate the platform and make connections. You can sign up for free here: www.stage32.com/education/products/stage-32s-january-2026-community-open...
I suggest adding a profile picture of yourself and a detailed bio to your profile. People will feel more comfortable networking and collaborating with you if they know what you look like. And if you have a picture, your profile will show up when someone searches for you. A detailed bio will help you build relationships/network on here. You could add things to your bio like why you became a director, your accomplishments, your goals, and what movies and shows you like.
You can upload a picture by clicking the gear symbol in the top right-hand corner and selecting “Edit profile” in the drop-down menu, then clicking the red button underneath your location and choosing "Update profile picture."

Thank you. I am new, so I still find the platform confusing. For example, I do not know how to reply to comments. lol I don't see a button.
You're welcome, Tammy Thompson. If you want to tag someone in your comment, put the @ symbol, and a menu of names will show up.
There's a description under the title in each Lounge that'll tell you what goes in that Lounge. And if you're still not sure or you ever have questions about Stage 32, let me or another Lounge Moderator know. We have badges on our pictures. Or you could email support@stage32.com.
I'm looking forward to seeing Word and Deed! You could post the teaser. You can add it by moving your mouse over "Profile" on the bar near the top of Stage 32's home page and click "Video/Audio." You can also post the teaser by moving your mouse over "Browse" on the same bar and clicking "Video."

Maurice Vaughan Thanks for the helpful tips. I tried to fill out my profile more so that people can see me and know that I am a real person and serious about making movies. Next, I will try to find places to connect with others and share the teaser. So if I ask for feedback, then I can share it in more spots or lounges?
You're welcome, @Tammy. Yeah, that's fine. And it's Stage 32's monthly Introduce Yourself Weekend (Friday-Monday). www.stage32.com/lounge/introduce_yourself

Petra Jurasova Thank you. The pilot will air this summer for free on YouTube, and then, starting with episode 2, it will be a paid subscription on the streaming site I built. Through subscriptions is how I plan to fund the rest of the series. Right now, it is on me and donations.
This is my streaming site.

There are a few things on there for free, but on the paid, there is my first film, The Beauty of Forgiveness movie. It is a small site, but it will grow over time with more films and shows I create. I tried DVDs with my first film, but I found that most people don’t have a DVD player, and they prefer to stream. So that is when I built my own streaming platform. Cut out the middle man and reach my audience directly.
