Do you think zombies only need to look scary? Not in my story. Zombies should prove themselves in action too.
What I’ve been able to show so far is that, unlike many other films, none of the survivors end up killing huge numbers of zombies.
Honestly, until now, no group of zombies has been completely wiped out.
The survivors don’t have massive resources, and most of the time they just manage to escape. But even that escape isn’t easy—usually one or more members get killed or injured.
In this sense, the zombies perform incredibly well. If it were only about strength, then the zombies in games like Dying Light or movies like World War Z are very strong. But what makes my Motris unique is this: escape is preferred over direct fighting—and that choice creates the real tension.
