I'm opening a new life chapter. As a director/writer (35 titles on TUBI in the US), I'm embracing my passion for vertical AI-driven (or AI-augmented) storytelling. This last week I drafted 3 vertical series pitch decks (each w/ 5 episodes written). I figure, if I can't find in-person directing work in the vertical space, I'll make my own and at least gain the experience.
And today I made this, a proof-of-content EP1 for one of my pitches, BURIED ALIVE BY MY HUSBAND. I used Z-Image to generate the reference images, Seedance 2.0, open-source tools for audio and narration, and then heavily edited/post-produced by-hand (note: I edited all 60 of my directed features). I have a number of LLM tools to develop STRONG hooks and vertically-appropriate structures. I love the integration of narrative and AI and I can't wait to collaborate with studios and producers to make real impact in the vertical space.
