Hi everyone, I’m Chris Grant Wenchell, a SAG-AFTRA actor and producer based in Los Angeles.
I’m the founder of XXII Pictures, where I develop and produce grounded genre film and television, including thrillers, action, sci-fi, mystery, and character-driven drama.
My produced work includes REIGN, THE ORDEAL, FIVE CARD DRAW, DIRT, and ALIUS. I’m currently building around original IP including ALIUS, a grounded sci-fi/conspiracy drama series, and DESERT SLEEP, a contained desert thriller designed as a festival short and proof-of-concept feature.
I’m here to connect with producers, managers, financiers, development executives, filmmakers, and collaborators interested in elevated independent genre projects with commercial potential.

I am currently seeking a producer for my short film “Soil of the Revolution”, a story exploring how a revolution can turn against itself through accusations of betrayal in the struggle for power.
The project is available for rights acquisition with profit participation (backend deal), along with a fair and professional financial agreement reflecting the value of the work.
I am open to serious discussions with producers or production companies interested in developing and bringing this film to the screen.
