Introduce Yourself : Aspiring screenwriter. by Milana Paraska

Milana Paraska

Aspiring screenwriter.

Hi everyone! I'm new to Stage32 and to the industry, so I want to introduce myself.

Just started screenwriting last year at my university, but for eleven years, including one professional year in uni, I was writing. Throughout my life, this hobby has been closely related, so I decided to make this my life's work.

I hope my thoughts, dreams, and beliefs will be revived in scripts and used for the good of this industry.

I'm not yet offering professional screenwriting services at the top level, but I rely on this site to help me.

Thank you for your attention! I will wait for you on my page if you're interested in my latest works and ideas for scripts.

Welcome, it's great that you're making the leap from a long time hobby to a dedicated path, and the fact that you've been writing for over a decade means you already have a strong foundation in voice and discipline. What's the biggest difference you've noticed between writing prose and writing screenplays so far?

Welcome to Stage 32!

It’s always inspiring to meet writers who are passionate about storytelling and committed to pursuing it professionally. Eleven years of writing is a wonderful foundation, and it’s exciting that you’ve now begun your screenwriting journey as well.

I wish you the very best as you continue developing your craft and bringing your ideas to life. Stage 32 is a great place to learn, connect, and grow, and I hope you find it as valuable as I have.

What types of genres do you like writing in the most?

Milana Paraska

I don't know how to answer here for the comments, but answering on Samantha Rivera's comment, I can say that it was really hard not to overwrite exposition, characters' feelings, or just not to describe everything I have in mind in scripts! In my first semester in uni, I had a massive problem with that, and my tutors usually noticed it!
