Current project is teaching students in Rains County and our Sister City in Bircza, Poland to research & write a screenplay on the US crew of B-24 bomber "Ditney Hill" that crashed in the forrests near Bircza on December 2, 1944.

Greetings from Boston and Korea. Your script Miracle on the Vistula sounds particularly interesting. There was a Polish movie in 2011 about that not too well known in the West, yet very consequnetial, event. Not quite the epic I was hoping for. Would love to see a proper David Lean-scope film on the subject.

The “Ditney Hill” Film Project is a pioneering historical and educational initiative connecting students from Rains County, Texas, and those of the Gmina of Bircza, Poland. By uniting students from both communities in the research and screenplay development of the story of the B-24J bomber “Ditney Hill” (which crashed near Bircza on December 2, 1944). We are creating more than a film; we are building a "Living Memorial” to assist & complement the planned memorial site’s construction. This project fosters a unique partnership between rural America and rural Poland, facilitating cultural diplomacy, digital literacy, film making and shared historical preservation.
