Lack of support on Stage 32

I have been trying on multiple trials to get some help on Stage 32 and there is no support. I have over 20 Achievements from Coverfly that I want posted on my profile, but I can not do it directly...at all. When I requested help they provided me with this preformed instructions on how to upload it...but you need the original Zip file, and there is s size restriction. My file is too large. I recreated the Zip file, no bueno. I manually uploaded most of my script awards...but I can not upload over 20 achievements which includes all of the Red List wins I have. I have requested help multiple times with no...and I mean no response. I don't understand why I can't just upload it myself. It would be the easiest. I only need to have the Achievements uploaded, since I have already taken care of everything else manually. I have sent them the list of awards provided by Coverfly, asking if they could just upload it, no response. Super frustrating...crickets...chirp...chirp...chirp...

I had the same problems as you...then I decided, screw it. Because with each passing day Coverfly become increasingly irrelevant. It's old news, "what have you done for me lately.?" I decided to keep looking forward, keep writing. And this past March, I signed with a management company. Not ironically, they were attracted by my latest screenplay. One that never saw the light of day on Coverfly. Now I have a team in my corner. And Coverfly now is CoverSoWhat.

Well I am looking forward. I am producing short films, I have written 16 shorts in the last 2 months and have directed and produced 5 of those so far, have released 4 shorts and will be shooting another 4-5 shorts in July. I continue to market my scripts, etc....etc... You never know what is going to land it for you, and I am happy that you have found some success... That said, I still would like to have my Red List credits posted. You never know what is going to attract the attention needed for larger production companies to request your work. I have one producer/director/actress shopping one of my scripts now. We shall see where all of this goes but all any of us can do is to keep working, keep winning, and keep promoting.

Can somebody from Stage 32 staff leave a comment here about my complaint? Hello? McFly?

Suzanne Bronson

I don't work in support and sometimes it takes awhile for support to get back to us because there is a few of them and a million of us. Also, Stage 32 does not have 24hr support, they keep regular business hours. As far as uploading your Coverfly achievements, there was a deadline given by Stage 32 and they were very clear you wouldn't be able to do it after that.

Curt Samlaska

Well, thank you Suzanne for responding, and I believe I did try to upload it during the "grace period" but it didn't work. I probably should have been a bit more forceful early on, but I have a very busy life and this had to go in the queue. Now here I sit... I probably should have been more aggressive earlier, but I don't see why they have restricted this upload. I don't understand why they won't let us upload the information directly, like they do for other tabs on the site. Why all the fuss? You should want us to be able to adequately show our awards. Just saying...

Suzanne Bronson

I don't know the technical aspects for it Curt. All I know it had something to do with coding and programming and site limits etc. Stage 32 can only upgrade one section at a time, because going dark would be death.

Curt Samlaska

You are a gem Suzanne, thanks for the clarification. If it can't be done, I understand, it is just so frustrating to not get any significant response from support. If it can't be done, or the cost is prohibitive I can live with that. Just good to know. Thank you so much for responding...now, back to my patients...
