hey everyone,
i’m looking for a talented video editor who loves cinematic storytelling, crime thrillers, drama, action and strong emotional scenes.
my project, Love & Chaos, is a nearly completed 7-volume crime thriller/drama built almost like a television season. The story already has dozens of scenes designed to work visually: brutal action, dark humor, emotional sacrifice, chases, rain, explosions, character moments and endings made to stay in the viewer’s head.
this is not a project where an editor has to invent everything from nothing. The scenes, characters, atmosphere and visual direction already exist. I’m looking for someone who can take that material and turn it into powerful cinematic shorts, teasers and eventually a full trailer.
some scenes are built around pure emotion. Some around tension. Some around dark humor with a payoff in the final second. Others are full-scale action sequences. I genuinely believe this project has very strong potential for short-form video because many of the scenes are written to grab attention quickly and finish with a memorable moment.
I’m not looking for a basic slideshow with music. I’m looking for someone who understands rhythm, tension, sound design, cinematic cuts and how to make a viewer stop scrolling.

So you’ve already shot seven episodes?
Mike. not yet :) I mean seven written volumes, structured almost like episodes of a TV season. the visual adaptation and trailers are the next step.
How would an editor edit if there’s no footage?
If you’re talking about using stock footage or AI, just say so. But that’s more than just editing.
you’re right that I should clarify. I’m actually interested in both. right now, some teasers and shorts can be created using AI-generated visuals, images and possibly stock footage. later, I also want to work with live-action footage and real actors.
so I’m looking for an editor who is comfortable with cinematic storytelling in both directions, not only traditional editing and not only AI.
