Screenwriting : Me by Trinity Davis

Me

I was going through an event in my life and writing a screenplay about it, I was shocked to discover it only filled up 63 Pages!!!! However in my head to cinematography it was way longer; and I know it was at least more than 2 hours during the procession that this thing was happening, so I'm just shocked to find out that it didn't end up that way on paper.... Amazing sometimes I even shock myself!

The longer you live, the longer your story.

Trinity Davis

I agree...and the longer it lasts the less I verbally say....

Congratulations on writing 63 pages, Trinity Davis! You could add scenes, characters, etc. if you want to make the script longer, but I suggest only doing that if those things are important to the story so they're not just to make the script longer.

Actually I feel even though it's only 63 Pages it's plenty it's in detail of actually what really happened and the proper cinematography will take care of the rest of time needed for absent pages. Thank you very much for your kind advice and taking the time to even comment it's much appreciated.

Maurice Vaughan

You're welcome, @Trinity. I've heard of that happening with short feature scripts. Keep us posted on your script.

I've had first drafts of various scripts end on page 76, 83, or 86. It's one thing a first draft is for, to see if you've got enough or, as it happens more often, too much.

On the bright side, Trinity Davis, you've a lot of room to work with to see what can breath and don't have to deal with "killing your darlings." You can even add some!

Michael Dzurak I was counting today and I counted 23 screenplays I will surprise that 15 of them were actually complete

23, wow. Good job on the writing. I am at 8.
