I have some exciting news to share: XineRent has officially made it into the Top 15 teams of the Young Business Venture Challenge (YBVC) 2026.
For those who don't know XineRent, I'm building a digital premiere platform specifically for independent filmmakers — helping filmmakers create scheduled online premiere events rather than simply uploading their films and hoping people find them.
I've been building and validating the idea from the ground up, and making the Top 15 is a huge milestone for me.
Now I have one challenge: getting to the next stage.
I'm currently looking for sponsorship support to cover the participation costs for myself and one accompanying team member, including travel, accommodation, transportation, and related expenses.
The maximum estimated requirement is up to $7,000, although the final amount may be lower depending on the arrangements. Partial sponsorship or in-kind support would also make a meaningful difference.
So I'm reaching out to the Stage 32 community:
If you know a company, filmmaker, producer, investor, entrepreneur, organization, or individual who supports young founders and might be interested in helping me participate in this opportunity, I'd genuinely appreciate an introduction.
And if you aren't in a position to sponsor directly, even pointing me toward someone I should speak with would help tremendously.
I've learned through XineRent that filmmaking is ultimately about people and connections, so I'm hoping this community can help me find the right people to take this next step.
I'm happy to share my pitch deck, information about YBVC, and a detailed breakdown of the estimated costs with anyone interested.
Thank you to everyone here who has given me advice, feedback, or encouragement so far.
