Very happy to share that BE A LEGEND has been selected as a Quarterfinalist in the 6th Annual Stage 32 TV Comedy Screenwriting Contest. First, congratulations to everyone who took part in this year’s competition, to all the projects that advanced through the different stages, and, of course, to those who ultimately took home the top honors. It’s a privilege to have BE A LEGEND recognized among so many talented writers, creators, and projects. A huge thank you as well to Stage 32 and everyone involved in making this competition possible and for continuing to create opportunities for original projects and the people behind them. While BE A LEGEND is a series I created, the pilot screenplay was written by Darrell A. Pennington, and the credit for this recognition belongs first and foremost to him. Darrell took the concept and characters and turned them into the script that earned this recognition. I couldn’t be happier to see his work acknowledged. And this is only one step in the journey for BE A LEGEND. We believe there is much more ahead for the series, and we’re always interested in connecting with producers and other industry professionals who respond to the project and might see a place for themselves in helping us take it further.
