Hey everyone. I wanted to share the opening teaser from my pilot WE DICE LIVING, a serialized prestige crime drama / coming-of-age tragedy.
The series follows Jayson “Jay” Topkins, his younger brother Donnie, and his closest friend Manny from their teenage years into adulthood, showing how choices made under pressure reshape who they eventually become.
These opening pages begin with an older, hardened Jay alone on an industrial road preparing for something we don’t yet understand — then jump back to Jay at 17, standing beside Manny at a neighborhood dice game before either of them understands where their lives are headed.
I’m sharing the complete six-page teaser because it gives a taste of the tone, character dynamics, visual language, and the show’s larger idea of choices and consequences without spoiling where the story eventually goes.
The pilot and pitch package are complete, and I’ve begun taking the series out independently. I’d love to hear what grabs you in these pages and whether the ending of the teaser makes you want to keep reading.
