I am curious about posting your work on social media as an actor. Do you think that when you post the work you do that it helps you get more work or do you think it helps with your branding?
Both! I'm an indie writer and animator, and I constantly see my voice actors listing their work on social media, both as proof that they're active and as a showcase of what their range is. You can build a fanbase that way, as well as just talk about projects you have upcoming or ones that you're really proud of. I think sometimes it can help with landing work, but speaking as someone who also does voice casting, it's more like a casting director might see it and find your portfolio through it, and potentially invite you to audition. At least, that's how it looks on my end.
