I need a writer to take over a project. The last writer did not do any work on the project, just took notes and then left for greener pastures at Paramount. I am a burlesquer, I own the American Burlesque Troupe, America's oldest Burlesque Troupe, we do nostalgic 1930-1965 burlesque revue shows, complete with crooners (Tit-singer is the correct term in Burlesque), dancers, strip teasers (with acts and only down to Gadgets), comedians, magicians, aerialists, ventriloquists, novelty acts, and musicians. We preform on stage, mostly on tour. The script that was being written was supposed to be a mockumentary (Similar to "This was Spinal Tap") about the American Burlesque Troupe. I am too close to the subject and have live show to run on top of it. I need a writer that understands burlesque and it is not the world of Strippers! So email if you think you have the skills to tackle the subject.
